The Hills

Nestled in the Mount Veeder hillside, this site has sweeping views of Napa Valley and beyond. 

The overall design focuses on how the architecture’s contemporary geometry contrasts with the unkempt edge of the natural landscape. 

The project features a main house, guest house, office, and greenhouse that are carefully integrated into the mountain. These various buildings are connected through a hillside stair. Its crisp lines seamlessly merge into the natural landscape and flow with the existing terrain.
